Assistant Maintenance Manager is responsible for providing operational support to the Maintenance Manager for military housing project within the Pinnacle portfolio. The AMM is responsible for adherence to military housing policies and procedures pertaining to all types of facilities managed by Pinnacle Military including managing the performance of in-house maintenance staff, third party vendors and maintaining continuity throughout to provide overall quality control for all properties.
Other duties as assignedEducation and/or Experience.
Employee should have an Associates degree or equivalent experience in a related field. A minimum of ten years experience in single-family and multifamily residential maintenance preferred.
Skills/Specialized Knowledge
A technical background in multifamily property maintenance is preferred. An expertise in carpentry, ceramic tile, sheetrock installation, and appliance repairs is preferred. A familiarity with electricity, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC systems and various appliances is preferred.
Required Licenses
Employee must have HVAC certification and other appropriate certifications required by the city and state in which the work is performed.

This job is a labor position and considered heavy in physical requirements. Employee must be able to constantly stand, walk, bend at the neck, reach waist to shoulder, grasp and use dominant hand; frequently lift up to 40 pounds, pull/push up to 50 pounds, climb ladders or stairs, kneel/squat, twist body, reach above shoulders or below waist and repeat motions and perform fine finger manipulations.
Mental Functions
Employee must be able to concentrate on moderate detail with little interruption. Employee must be able to remember simple task assignments given at the beginning of a period of time extending for several days.
Work Environment
The work involves indoor and outdoor activities with exposure to seasonal weather and the associated temperature fluctuations. The employee will be exposed to frequent airborne dust, paint fumes and the chemicals used in surface preparation and general maintenance work.
